Well today we went to WestonLawns dressage champs. We were disappointed they didn'rt have more entries but the standard was high. The rider getting the highest percentage over all the affiliated entries got a lesson with Richard Davison and there were feed vouchers for all winners and sashes and mounted prize giving.
Well in the prelim we got 72% and won and in the novice 70% and won .Waited to watch the elementary and medium but no one beat my score so won the lesson. Two lots of vouchers and2 beautiful sashes. That's 3 wins in a week[ he won the Spillers comb training on Thursday]
He is now having a well earned rest ,he is only 5 and excells at everything.
BIG THANKS to Partoow for all her help and support and saddle this year, she is a star at training us and in all 3 tests I got 8 for my riding, chuffed!

How fantastic for you!!! What a pair of stars you are!!!
Its amazing what hard work and dedication can do for you!! and you have that in bucket loads!!!
Enjoy your rest and hope to see you soon.

How utterly fantastic is that

Wholehearted well done from me - hope partoow can work some of her magic on me with such success!

Is this the bay horse? Was he bred by an HHO member? (Memory going in old age!) What a marvellous season you have had...well done.

Thanks everyone, yes he is the bay that was him as a 4 year old,He was bred by horsegroupie[ has some strange name nowlol]His dam is by Its the business and his sire is Renkum Valentino..He is a sweet kind generous horse that I can canter around the field with my 2 year old sitting in front of me, Mum can hack out along the busiest of roads, jumps so carefully and every judge loves him.If you put pressure on him he says' Ok Mum, I'll try harder' You would all love him.I bought him as a foal when my talented jumper was killed and I had no money to replace him with an older horse. I had time and it has paid off, big time.

Hi there,

I was there yesterday too! 4th in the prelim and 5th in the novice. Not the greatest day as the big man has only been on light work due to intermittent lameness, but we still had a good day (and managed to win best turned out - think they took pity on me for having a grey...)
I thought it was a shame that the day wasn't better supported as they put a lot of effort in throughout the year.

I think I remeber your chap - he looked really sweet

PS think the photos are up now on pegasus photographic

Thank you, we are known for being the worst turned out, if you have read my posts you will understand. At Gatcombe washed coloured put on dirty travelling boots hence dirty legs and had to wear police uniform as in military section and washed jacket with a disposable nappy, you can guess what it looked like. Then my long boots got sent back to manufacture and had to wear friends boots and gaiters but forgot one gaiter ,so had to do tests in joddy boots, then friend wanted boots back so had to wear very old boots with broken zip and gaiters over the top, we had those on yesterday, maybe luck ones!.My horse has sweetitch so even with boett on has no mane so 3 plaits.
Yes I am a shambles but have lovely horse.Saw photos and yes I am the scruffiest
