Wrapping hay

Ive heard of people having large bales of hay wrapped for them and am interested to know more about this. I keep meaning to have our fields for cut for hay and never quite get round to this due to having nowhere to store the gay once cut!! Does anyone know if it is possible to get it wrapped shortly after baling? How long would it keep for like this?

I've had some made like that when we didn't have barn big enough to store it. The process isn't much different than making haylage, it's just that the grass is left/turned to dry completely before baling and wrapping
