Wretched wretched wretched animal!

Oh no, I love this pony! Hope he's ok OP- I always enjoy your posts about him, he's such a stunning boy.

Sounds like you are having an awful time at the moment. Thoughts and vibes to you and the bonkers black pony.

Well my gran had a great send off today, just a small group of people who really loved her all giving their tributes to her, lots of tears and plenty of laughter. Which makes that part just a little easier.

The pony thinks he is just grand and doesn't understand why I keep trying to cuddle him (he is too busy for cuddles). Work is awful but I'm trying to see the bright side, time for a new adventure perhaps!

As one door closes another door opens. I'm glad your Gran had a good send off today. I lost my grandma a few months ago and I was dreading her funeral, it sounds a similar Adair to your Gran's and was a really lovely send off. I found it really helped me and I felt more settled in myself afterwards. I hope you get similar relief now today is over. I miss my grandma every day but she too had dementia and was ready to go...

I'm sorry to hear about your job too, I hope you find that it brings you opportunities for the future. Are you getting any kind of pay out at all?

As for your pony, I don't really have any sdvice as ive been lucky and have no experience of such injuries. I'll keep everything crossed for you.

Great big hugs. It's such a cranky time for you I think you need thdm!!!

So sorry to hear bout your nan, job and gorgeous horse, what a lot to have to deal with but you sound very positive considering. ! Mine is currently on 6 weeks box rest but vet is more than happy for it to be carried out on yard with access to field shelter and very small corner of arena to sleep on. After a couple of weeks I have to increase area gradually but don't need to do any in hand walking as he will be moving around himself. He is shut in with his women and although they look a little bored no mishaps after the first week!

Fingers crossed injury not too bad and recovery swift x

Well I had just the tiniest bit of luck yesterday to brighten my life for a moment. I won a box of chocolates in the village raffle and £25 on the lottery. Woohoo! Until just now when I bit into a toffee from my prize box and half my tooth broke off! I think I must have cracked it when I smacked myself in the jaw with a barbell on Friday. And the bonkers black pony is already going rather bonkers less than a week into his rest, it's taking 2 of us to lead him out to his paddock! Fingers crossed the vet says they got it all wrong and he'd just stumped his toe or something and he's fine to crack on again...wishful thinking.
