Really not sure what to include here, going to do both a newspaper ad and a website ad.
Basic stats:
16hh 14yr ISH bay gelding, previously evented up to novice (novice slightly out of comfort zone, pre-novice within it) Super honest jumper, flatwork will do for riding club/pc level, not a big winner there though. Hunted and hunt chased in the past. Ideal riding club, pony club fun horse. Good to hack alone/company, but will jump if e.g bird flies out of hedge. Basically an enjoyable horse, does weave and not great about being stabled, prefer to live out. Also only travels either without partition on trailer or with plenty of space in lorry (but can travel 3 in a 3 horse lorry so long as he has plenty of room)
hmm...probably suit confident novice up, not total beginners horse, but no bucks/rearing etc. just enjoys his work.
Thoughts? Not sure how to condense that!

16hh 14yr ISH bay gelding. Lovely temperament and lots of experience with a superb jump. Evented up to Novice but happiest at PN or PC/RC level. 100% shoe, box, clip, traffic etc. Has been seen to weave and not a beginners horse hence £xxx

Everything else can be explained when they ring

Agree, lots of it can be explained over the phone.

Yes I can see what you mean about the beginners bit, however (I hope!) most people would know whether or not they were a beginner, whereas the term 'novice rider' can be misleading. You could leave that bit out and filter the unsuitable riders out during phonecalls?

I think it's a great advert . Not a novice or beginners ride is being honest - it doesn't make your horse sound like a loony . You see it all the time in ads - some might be crazy , but the majority are simply more suited to a rider with more experience .

Good luck with your selling .
