I have a young silkie hen that is showing sudden symptoms of this. I have got some water with supplement in it down her. She took it off a spoon actually and I have given her some chopped broccoli and sunflower seeds to see if that will help. Does anyone have any good ideas of anything else I can do to help her? She is only about 16 weeks old and just laid her first egg. I have put her in a coop on her own so that she isn't bullied by the others. She was as healthy as a healthy thing just before lunchtime.
