Whilst at uni, trawling chat rooms because I was bored I stumbled across one called 'animal lovers' and being an innocent dafty I thought "awww that sounds a nice one" hence to say I was soon proved wrong there.
 
a few years ago in the West Midlands a girl was sexually assaulted when she went to look after her pony, so the police set up a big surveillance operation of a lot of horse fields, yards etc to try to catch the man. apparently there was a shocking amount of this going on, believe it or not, they couldn't believe it.
one good reason for keeping your horses in a field behind your house in the middle of nowhere imho! don't know what else to say really... i suppose it is marginally better than the sick b****ard raping some poor woman, but only because a horse lives for the here and now and, as long as it is uninjured, will not feel violated, shamed, etc, any more than a mare does after having a vet do an internal examination on her, for example.
i hope you know what i mean, not condoning this disgusting behaviour at all.
 
Eeuuuwww. Trouble is you know that sort of stuff does go on behind closed doors/stables but in broad daylight by a road where you can be seen?! Sick f**k.
 
Agree with that, the horse has no concept that it is being violated in the way that a human would. I also do not condone such behaviour, but feel that the size of the mare in comparison with the man will mean that she suffers little or no harm, provided he does not then become angry with the animal for 'making' him do that. It makes you wonder how many times he has done that before, given his age.

Ok i've said it before on here but i'll tell you our story again.
It's very sick

About 18 months ago now, i arrived at Mossburn (we're an animal rescue centre if you don't know) and i could just tell something was up. There were new goats everywhere, and it was just silent, really wierd.
Turns out we had over 35 new animals including 8 calves, a pony, lots of goats, and some sheep.
The guy who had them had been keeping them all in some sick perverted barn, with "holding pens"

Anyway, the pony wasn't too bad, had terrible feet but we like to think he never abused her, she actually went to a member of the forum if i remember right.
The goats quickly went to new homes, except for a mother and baby (nancy and sinatra, he had the most gorgeous blue eyes) They were kept to put weight on and for a bit of TLC, then were rehomed but Nancy is now back with us, renamed Twiggy lol.
The worst of the goats were two little cashmeres, the vets report was hard to read for those two

THey had definitely been horibbly sexually abused

They went off to a new home a few weeks later, in the back of a van bless them, and are doing well

The worst of all the animals were the 8 calves. All were put on drips, they were so so tiny, all about 1 month old. 3 of them were put to sleep the day we got them, they had just given up totally, their eyes were so lifeless

The other 5 began an extremely long road to recovery. The vets bills added up, and we started a calf fund, which raised a lot of money from such generous people

The long winter nights, getting them all bottle fed and all the cuddles they needed (the right kind

) took up so much time and effort, and we have such a great team of volunteers.

It was in the paper and we went to court, but he is "mentally ill" Yeah we know that, but we've taken his animals, what stops him doing it to a child now?

Hmmmm. Is this a wind up? The photo with the "article" shows a horse with a black rectangle across its eyes for privacy like they do for people to protect their identity. Ha ha, very funny. All jokes aside, it would have to be a very tall, athletic bloke to reach to have sex with a mare and the mare would have to be either tied up or VERY obliging. So how come he just spotted it in the field? I think it's a wind up. Either way, I think Admin will delete this thread pretty soon. Hope so.
 
My friend was selling her donkey and had a call from someone asking if he could pay to have sex with it.

At first she thought it was a wind up from someone she knew so carried on the conversation but she started to realise that it wasn't. She put the phone down but thought later that we could have set a trap for him.

He offered £50 for sex in the field and £80 if she had a stable. He obviously knew a bit about it, mentioning several times that the Jenny wouldn't even notice as he was a lot smaller than a Jack..

TBH though it was weird/horrible at the time we laugh about it now.
 
I saw a program a few years ago about some people in America that had "married" their horses, and were open and frank about what they did with them, was totally sick.
 
Obviously not afraid of being kicked, then! Kerilli has the usual common sense angle and Yorks G, too. I think there is more of this about than we realise
