Wuthering Heights

Just seen that Martin Clunes has a part in a new production of Wuthering Heights coming out next year. Having just watched the trailer initial thoughts were that the casting was rubbish, but secondly that it looks a lot steamier than the book! I mean the book is weird - all that passion and no sex - but I think maybe the dramatisation might fill in the gaps

Loved the book, read it many times.
It will have to be good (i.e. not dumbed down, not made with a ‘contemporary twist’ and not full of sex - there is such a thing as imagination) for me to want to watch.

To be honest, if I hadn't known the trailer I watched on IMDB was Wuthering Heights I would never have guessed. Looked more like that other one I couldn't bear to watch because it wasn't a bit like my imagination -Bridgerton?
