i have recently bought a miniature from kamila (master rebel on the website) and my friend has bought 2x previously. always found her very helpful and honest.

Thanks - I know minis are clipped and can look gorgeous (Stinkbombs 2 for example) but as foals?

Thankyou :) but yes miniature foals are clipped often, for showing and selling purposes. Miniatures "careers" start from an early age as the usual 3-4 yrs rest is not required as they obviously wont be ridden! More often than larger horses miniatures are shown from 3months upwards and are not left to mature in fields as larger horses are! Clipping a foal is not something i particulally agree on i must say

S4sugar.... yes..that is my mare.. Dubai.... she doesnt look that roach backed in the photos...(do you think?) and in reality she is quite underweight..... not got a lot going for her really with her bad eye as well.... but am happy to see how she turns out eventually....

My daughter says that I am a sucker for the hard luck cases with problems.. and in reality she is right.... In June this year I bought a little underweight colt a friend had rescued and despite him looking so much better in the body 3 months later had to make the hard decision to PTS as he had something congenitally wrong with his hooves... he couldnt walk.... completely dumbfounded the vet... but thats horses for you.....

Hi, I have recently purchased my foal Milenka from Kamila at the Kent stud, went and viewed her twice and had her vetted and she passed with great recommendation. She is a wonderful and caring foal. I have a lot of experience with the breed of Kinsky horses and I find them amazing - not only are they athletic warmbloods but they are all very brave (non spooky) and with hearts of gold. I used to practically be able to sit under the tummy of my old Kinsky and he wouldn't bat an eyelid.
