www.horseboxseller.com - anyone bought?

I haven't bought but he was terribly rude to me when I rang asking if he had an automatic, said he'd never seen one in 20 years!!!!

Really...I've seen about a dozen in the last 2 1/2....

Couldn't possibly say what the metal was like though, I'd much rather give my money to a nice person who took time to talk to me and explain things
 
As an aside Mike007 on here really seems to know his onions when it comes to mechanicals and boxes and all the details you need, maybe he could advise you where to go for what you want??
 
I tried to buy one off him. Rang to go see it and he said it was being mot'd the next day and I should come after. Said he'd call me when it was done. 3 days later I called and reminded him I wanted to come over. The next day he removed it from website and I never heard anything else.
 
Have used him without any problems at all.
Purchased and been very happy.
I did have box independently checked over, and would always recommend anyone do the same,whether buying from dealer or privately.
Seller was happy for me to do so, too.

When we were lorry hunting we contacted him several times on several different occasions (about different lorries which we were very interested in and serious about) and not once did he come back to us about any of them. Gave up in the end, which was a shame as the horseboxes looked very nice.
 
He was polite when I went to see a box and then, admittedly my fault, I took a few days thinking it over and the box had gone. I called again about the next similar one on his site and he never got back to me.
 
I bought a lorry of him and traded in my old one. Was really happy with the service and the price and the lorry had no hidden problems when we got it home.
