It has been recommended to me to try Thirds/ Sharps this winter as with the snow last winter the usual chaff/beet/mix wasn't cutting it.
He is currently on nothing but very good grass, and is looking good. I know he drops in the winter so by November will likely to be looking to start hard feeding.
My thinking was Alfa A Oil ( always been on this) Thirds, and Linseed? Is there anything I need to be aware of feeding it? Does it need supplementing with anything in particular?
I've only ever seen this used on a livery where I worked, and It was fed to pretty much most of the yard with happy hoof and a mix in differing degrees.
