Worrying myself sick and not sure whats best to do.

Am on small DIY yard with own field (use to have 2 ponies, now 1) Work with girl in next paddock so that one of us turns out, one brings in so neither hers or mine are on their own. Now have spare stable and as my field had 2 - obv place is to go in with mine.
Yard owner will change current arrangement so that my and girl nexts to me paddock goes into 3 temporarily with a view to newby going in with either me or her.

My horse has come sound after accident - will never be fixed, but can be managed - which includes: nice quiet yard with lots of turnout and not hoolin around. Newby horse is 17.2 and has been asked to leave current yard as bullying in field.
So definitely don't want him in with mine, and as I help girl in next paddock don't want to be manoving around him to get her horse out.
Have relayed my concerns to YO who is adement newbie is nice and friendly and me being over top and def will not keep 3 paddocks permanently. Just to add this girl wont say anything and sits on fence so cant rely on her.

Have looked at new livery yard which has more facilities and will be on part livery. Seem better at "understanding" Is "compatible pairs turnout"

Can afford the extra (as gone from 2 to 1) but would have been nice to spend the extra on me. But if "compatible pair" decided to leave will I be back in same situation as current place - (No option of single turnout there)

Sorry for waffling and thanks for reading!

You've got a little breathing space while the new gelding is kept on individual turnout while he settles. See how it goes. He may not be a thug on his new yard.

I do understand you getting upset about it though. Especially if your boy has just come sound.

Stupid thought, but could the 2 horses that get brought in together be in same field? And new horse on own. You will also have a problem if new horse can't be left alone, or in fact your horse.

I'd move, I went on to part livery after going down to one and it was so nice not to have the stress of getting to the yard for a particular time - especially if you work. I am assuming that part livery means t/o, muck out, feed/water/hay(lage) and b/i though so am basing my answer on that.
I think if current YO knows about your horse's management needs and is still willing to put a big horse with a reputation in with him then I wouldn't be happy staying there.
