WWYD? Trailer test or back pony?

I've enough money to either do my trailer test or get my other pony backed profressionally and can't make up my mind. I'll be able to save enough money (hopefully) to get the other one towards the end of the year.

So, do I get my 5 year old backed and get her going, or do I get my trailer test done and I can take the other pony out to more events?

What would you choose?

Do you need to tow 2 horses or just one?

I've got an old rice trailer and a disco so even for one horse I'm over the threshold.
I'll only be taking one out at a time to begin with as the young one will need all of my attention.
