Yard politics always seem to get rather fraught and when it starts to get to you it is definitely time to look at moving.
As long as emotion doesn't get into the discussion it is probably worth telling the YO why you are leaving, especially as it does seem that there has been a bit of an exodus recently.
With regards to 'your' summer field being used - as I read it this was after you had already given your notice so I don't really see this as an issue. Similarly it is common on a lot of yards for stables/tackroom to be used by others once you have vacated them so again I wouldn't stress over whether or not this will happen.
Hopefully you will be happy and settled at the new yard.
