I dont have one of their own saddles bt had one fitted by them!
My WB has a short back and I have hip problems and they managed to find a saddle that is perfect for both of us! I did find the previous owner would sell ou a saddle for the sake of selling you a saddle but totally trust the new ones.
I think if your not 100% happy maybe keep lookin to see if you prefer anything else!
I used to have a WB saddle, very comfy and excellent quality - just a shame my horse changed shape! However I bought my second saddle from them (Ideal) and was very pleased, although I didn't have them out to fit it.
Never had one made but had one fitted by NU and it was fitted too long, causing problems for my horse's back. He has now moved to Wiltshire and WB no longer offer a fitting service. I think they still make saddlery, though.
I also agree with small that Nathaniel could probably have sold snow to the eskimos if given long enough. My friend Janine works in there and so I do love the shop, especially now he no longer owns it
whispers *he's in chard now*! funny isn't it, he's the only fitter I trust after so many bad experiences with others he was the only person who could sort my tb out with a saddle that fitted
Lol yes, it is horses for courses I think. He was a nice enough, obliging person, but I just was left mad that I ended up shelling out £1000 on a saddle for my cob, that was too long for him. I now use a fitter/saddler in Cornwall who is also of the Master Saddler variety!! I still live in Wellington, though
