Wycombe sponsored ride!

Not that one, but there's another ride at the same venue a couple of weeks later run by Chiltern and Thames Connemara Group which I will probably go to (you don't need to be a member/have a Connemara - I don't!).

By the way, as I type this, I'm sat in my office which is probably about 500 or so yards away from the venue field. If I was working on Easter Monday (which thankfully I'm not!) I could almost, but not quite, lean out of the office window and give you a wave!

Hope you enjoy the ride. The water crossing at Wycombe is great fun!

Oh come along and wave!! starting at 11 me and mate on two incredibly handsome show cobs!! Either will enjoy every minute or get murdered on way round knowing my chap!

Good to see this is still going! I did it well over 10 years ago, in the snow (was quite surprised, just back from ski-ing and thought I'd seen the last of the snow for one winter!) Horse was in his dressage saddle because his jump one was being mended and he pulled and bounced for 10 miles and 50 jumps, and finnished up cantering down the hill to the end sideways. It was so much fun! But I was crippled for days afterwards. Loved the river crossing, I think he was swimming, he had such little legs.

Have a lovely time - I'm jealous now
