X-Country boots

would tri zone brushing boots be alright for x-country jumping or should i try some tendon boots or should i stick with the brushing boots?

I was always told to use closed boot for XC and open fronted for showjumping, as if they bash a solid jump they know about it at least if there legs covered theyve got a bit more protection, so i would go for the brushing boots.
