I was wondering if any1 had any idea how much a set of hock x-rays cost?
im just outside glasgow in case location makes a difference.


even an estimate would be helpful so i can work out how much im going to need to pay his bills - already out about £150 for physio and vet call-out

I recently had my laminitic pony xrayed. I wanted someone with a mobile xray machine so I didnt need to distress her more than necessary. I paid £36 for each xray. £65 callout and an additional £100 for them to bring the xray machine (which I thought was really wrong!) hope that helps

around £250 but surgerys differ, I think they have to be done at the surgery as ive been told the portable xray machines arent enough for the hock area

yes, thanks..
my vet doesn't have a portable machine so i have to take him to the clinic. thankfully i've managed to arrange for someone to take us as i can't pull a trailer on my license.
still worried about what they're going to find
