X5 towing trailer ok/or not

hi im going to be getting a trailer in sept and also chopping my car in hopefully for a new bmw X5, is this a suitible 4x4 for towing?

Boltonrider - are you sure? whattowcar.com reckons they can tow 2700kg.

can you tell us more about the braking issue?

I used an X5 regularly for towing, it was 100% fine

Yes it'll be fine. In fact it'll be great! My dad has an X5 & it's brill to tow with.

my friend loves towing with her X5...it seems a shame to use such a lovely car for towing
