Hi I know this will have been done to death but looking to treat the boy to some new xc boots and wanted to see what you all recommended (or don't).

Thanks in advance :)

premier equine air cool ones are great and easy to keep clean, they are leather though so depends if they will be left in damp lorries ect. They also have a life time garentey so if they are broken they arte replaced free of charge.

I have premier equine ones and think they are great too.

I'm also looking for some xc boots, but they need to be suitable for a solid 15.2 Welsh cob - does anyone have any experience of fitting xc boots to this kind of horse? I've had the le mieux stealth boots before but they weren't a good fit on my other finer section D and also the quality wasn't great.

The new le mieux stealth ones (mkIII) are really nice, and from what I've seen they've made a lot of improvements from the mkII ones, especially with the velcro and fit. I think there might actually be an even newer set out now, but I've not seen them in person. I've had the mkIII ones on my IDx for full days hunting and they didn't slip or move at all. Also had the PE ones on my last horse, which suited her well :)

I've got on really well with the Tri-Zone Boots - always surprised by how cool their legs are when they come off! Don't hold water and mud brushes off easily. I've heard a couple of people say they rubbed but haven't experienced that myself on fairly fine-skinned horses (WB and TB). :)
