what colour breeches do you all compete in?

i don't like white for XC

so just wondering what other options are out there. I saw a girl at an event riding XC in a lovely pair of breeches, they were ever so slightly grey, but i cannot find them anywhere been into my tack shop and looked through all their catalogues and nothing!

My XC colours are Bark blue/ Light blue;

Don't like white breeches eventing personally. Fawn/beige colours look best but you could wear navy breeches for XC (I will probably be shot down for saying that by the traditionalists!) Think baby blue would just look wrong and light grey would look like you had washed a light pair with something dark...

I wear my dark beige. I did buy some white 1s but I wear a white base layer & frankly it was all a bit too see through ! So they promptly got sold again! I also decided swapping breeches as well as everything was too much like hard work!

Usually blue, but I don't compete in anything serious these days so I've no idea if it would be frowned upon in more competitive environments (it seems to be encouraged to go more colourful at informal lower levels in this area). When I was at PC (many years ago) we were allowed beige, navy or black for xc. Not a fan of white for anything, I attract mud!

I love your colours as they are.

I use some high waist mark todd competition breeches in beige which work really well.

Made the mistake of doing a very wet muddy Frickley in my Ivory schumachers which I normally use for dressage and regretted it as had to do about 3 washes with a lot of vanish and the suede bit still isn't back to perfect.

The mark todds wash perfectly.

I think I was at the same very muddy frickley!! I bought new breeches after that & didn't even fall off
