Am desperately looking for a XC clinic/lesson with a BE accredited trainer/elite rider or something for Feb time before my 1st event in March.

Preferably somewhere no further then 2hrs away (ish) from Essex.

Any suggestions welcome! Thx

Thats a shame.

Only thing is there is no prices or anything. I would want to send it off end of Dec really to make sure I get in but I cant find any info apart from the dates!

I have emailed someone so hopefully they can help

I think they are £40. So which one are you going to H_J? I quite fancy the Nick and Nigel one at Ely. I went last year when it was Kenneth and JP and it was great fun. The ground held up really well for the xc as we'd had loads of rain.

How much is it to join?

Just had a look and it is £20 to join I think!

So would cost me £120 for both days if I have calculated right! inc stabling for one night

I really wish EHOA would organise more stuff near me

Every year I look hopefully at the website, and every year there is only usually one thing I can do, which means it isn't worth me joining

It's a shame as all the stuff looks great too!

No the two day ones are more, so if you join it'll be £75, £95 for non-members.

Did one last year, Cost £20 to join £75 for the course , then £10 voucher (for joining) taken off. You also get loads of doscounts on other things and a hospitality marquee at major events. Bee trains with both Nick and Nigel, both are good, Nigel has a wry sense of (sexist!) humour and Nick is lovely.

Nick is very close to us so Bee is having a fortnightly private lesson with him over the winter.

Great so it comes to £105, only thing is I need to see if my friend can come as dont really fancy going on my own, sad I know!

Seems like good value though for £105

I'll do both days as long as I can get the Monday off work. As Thistle said, Nigel has a very wry sense of humour which is always entertaining, and he's a great trainer too; Nick is very thorough and doesn't miss a thing, so you should get lots out of both sessions.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you take the £10 off, so £85, plus £8 if you stay to have supper with Tina and the others on the course. Bee may do that as her work experience that week has been cancelled. It was good last year!

Plus stabling of course! You can book extra meals for anyone who is with you too.

I'd send your application for the EHOA training off asap as they do seem to fill up quite quickly, esp at the start of the season.
I think you get the option to apply for another £10 training discount voucher later in the year, so that effectively cancels out your membership fee??

I'm doing the CDT thing in Feb, sounds like it'll be very useful!
