XC colours/hat silk!

I want to buy hubby a new hat silk for Xmas, he wants red with black spots (like a ladybird) as he had one years ago.

Dragonfly sadlery works out at £12.99 plus £5.95 postage, and treehouse are £19.99 plus £2.50 postage so not much difference really, though I don't know if the dragonfly one is silk or lycra as it doesn't really say on the website.

Has anyone bought from either of these companies or have any other recommendations??

You could look on Ebay, there's sometimes people on there who'll make whatever you want. I got mine off someone on there and they were brilliant - silk I had done is excellent quality.

I have a leaflet from them but think it was last years. I will give them a ring and check price etc is still the same. Just wanted to check that they were good quality, and hopefully will post out fairly quickly (as less than 4 weeks now to the big day - eeekkk!!)

Ebay a good idea, but sod's law couldn't find a listing for personalized colours.

Have ordered the one from treehouse by phone just now, and assured it will be delivered in time. Fingers crossed.

(I meant to order him one last year and left it too late, so hope he likes it)

Definitely recommend treehouse. Spent ages on ebay trying to find what I wanted and failed, the quality of the ones I did find were far inferior to the treehouse one. They offer a really helpful and friendly service too.

They are sooo helpful, just let them know what design and colour along with the size of hubbies hat, but when I ordered one earlier in the year there was a 3 week wait so dont delay!
I really cant rate them highly enough!

Mine silk cover is Treehouse. I also got a special lycra 1 made at 2 days notice from a local place. Just a 1-woman band and she makes to order.

I can't recommend Treehouse highly enough, the owner rang me to discuss a made to measure BP and was so nice.
We used a set of their colours last season numerous times and they still look brand new.
ps...don't use a tavistock based firm, our top shrank even on 30, the hat button fell off and delivery was slow....
