XC colours

Its a bit of a pointless post but it is horrible outside and we have a powercut! So i thought i would post this so we could all share what our cross country colours are, and also how far you go to make sure everything is colour coordinated.
I used to have blue xc colours for storm but I wanted something a bit different so went for yellow and black. I used to have everything yellow like rein and martingale stops, whip, boots but then i decided to tone it down a little, so this is a pic of xc last september. I am also looking to buy a black hatsilk with yellow stars.

Will have a look for a better pic on my other comp. But they are green and navy. And I have matching rugs, leadropes (well one navy, one green) and travel boots and navy tail bandages. Sad I know.

Mine are Green with Brown stars, a bit hard to tell from this pic as it was very dark!
I have brown over-reach boots, a brown saddle and bridle.

I used to have green brushing boots but someone stole them and used them when their horse was turned out and when I got them back they were ruined

my colours have been the same for over 20 years, i changed them once and had such miserable luck that i quickly changed back!

all navy, red and white, stars and stripes, because i'm American.
do need a new jersey at some point though as this one is from Next in the '80s and has more than done its time... i'd like one with stars down the sleeves, i think, very snazzy.
all my rugs are navy bound red too, have been for ever, so everything matches at least!

Mine are navy, beige and pale pink hoops, navy cap with pale pink stars and pom pom. Don't actually coordinate the horses rugs but they are predominantely navy blue (depends on the rug to the binding). Did consider when purchasing my lorry having it sprayed in navy, beige and pale pink but thought better of it!

My XC colour is YELLOW

Its just a jumper and hat silk. Nothing else matches in my stables

I have used both for the past 10 years. Although I think its time to get a new hatsilk.

k9h, those are brilliant, i have just got to get some! that would be the finishing touch... i'd never dreamed anyone might make such a thing!
i draw the line at stars and stripes saddle cloth, boots etc etc... maybe when i get on the Team, but not before!

I love them & want them but can't exactly wear them! So will have to get pleasure from you wearing them!!
They are a tad fun aren't they! So them years ago & it wasn't till you said you were stars & stripes I thought I know the perfect finishing touch!

I started off with yellow and green and navy-Yellow and navy hatsilk, yellow shirt, yellow and green saddlecloth and yellow brushing boots.

Then moved onto purple and blue when i outgrew them- matching purple and blue xc shirt, purple numnah.

But then i missed my yellow-ness so invested in some very bright glowing yellow colours with black stars! i love them! i also have the matching hatsilk but sometimes partner my yellow saddlecloth or sometimes just white. Me and my sister are matching and are referred to as 'the bees' or the yellow ones! Plus we never get missed as we stand out so much!

I've not done any xc in about 3 years now- but will be doing this summer.
I have a navy and pink hatsilk and a navy body protector- i'll probably wear a pink shirt underneath. Nowt else will match!

I used to compete my pony in my grans racing silks- green with a white v. If i do any good this season i might go back to wearing them! I'd love to wear them again but with Solo's uncontrollableness and Red being quite green across country i think i'd make a fool of myself!

Mine are a Plumish Pink and Black!
With a Plumish Pink Body Protector, and Black top underneigh!
And my hat silk in cut into quaters with two black quaters and two pink quaters

Mine are harlequin i.e. red, yellow, green, blue, purple and black. My hat silk is yellow, green, red, purple and black. I love bright colours and my boyfriend has no problems spotting me on the cross country course! I would post a picture but I'm not sure how to do it.

Mine are black and yellow also, same jumper and hat silk from when I started about 10 years ago though tend to only wear the jumper when its horrible and cold

mine are navy and yellow but i'm now changing to maroon and white, when i can find a jumper/shirt to go with my hat silk but if i cant find one i will go back to yellow and navy

Tillys first ODE she wore pink and navy but now she has a pale blue sweatshirt with a pink star and a silk to match both from treehouse colours. Mine used to be navy and gold as I rode for Worcester Riding Club, looked nice on a few spot appaloosa.
