I love Manor Farm, Balkholme, howden, but have been there soooo many times, looking for something a bit diff

Seriously love hoods, but am taking a friend and her youngster so it may be a bit over powering

Caistor is another possibility

anyone know of anything else

looked on the micro-site, didnt find much in this area xx

There is one a little further afield at Thornthorpe near Malton which has everything you need - banks, ditches, water etc.

We have also been to the one at Stamford Bridge - I personally dont find that one as inviting as Thornthorpe but I was on a real baby.

Epworth have quite a nice selection, haven't been for a couple of years but last time they'd just rebuilt the course so should be fairly new, going's good. Kinda unaffiliated novice up to intro/pre-novice size.
There's a place near lincolnshire showground that I can't remember the name of for the life of me, it has everything from beginners through to about intermediate BE. Ground can be a little firm and it could do with a bigger water complex but if you've been going to balkholme you probably don't need to practice water.
All the places mentioned above are good, depends what you're looking for, a proper course or more of a schooling ground.

thanks polo

I think the lincolnshire one could be hoods, thats the one from the pic in my siggy, loved it there but cant convince the friend with the youngster its a good idea ha.

Have competed at epworth, but its quite a treck for us, ideally would like to find something closer

In an ideal world im looking for something that will provide a challenge for my crazy orange neddy, and set him up ready for the open hunter-trial season (so were talking q. technical, heights of about 3'6) but something that has enough variety for my friend to tootle round at her leasure

I think we're aiming for Stamford bridge atm, only prob is that dosent open till april, and most the hunter-trials are underway by then

I dont ask for much eh
