I know I've asked this about 100 times over, but I'm finally able to get the ned out to some XC without him killing me... well, in theory anyway :D

I was just wondering if people had any :
  • contact details
  • photos of the jumps
  • opening times

Of the courses below, or had had any more to add to the list! Many thanks.

  • Lodge Farm
  • Bull Farm
  • Bonfleur
  • Chillham
  • Denne Hill
  • "the one in Camer Park, by Nurstead"
  • Hurstwood Farm

Kingsfords in delting is good, open any time - pm for phone number

Bonfleur- friends have been and liked it, they have a website.

Chilham - nice course but jumps quite big, they have website

Bigburry-canterbury is really good, number is in pegasus

:-)

Lodge farm in my fav!!!

Went there on Sat, I have made a topic in the photo section called 'the arab goes xc' of some like that ha ha

It's a really nice well kept course with something for everyone although the jumps don't really get bigger than about 1.10, there water is also lovely and inviting!!!

Been to Chilham, HATED it, I think unless you have someone else riding with you and you can go off together it's just a nightmare coz people have to follow of foot and it takes ages to get to the next lot of jumps!!! And the water, don't even get me started!!! it is HORRIBLE, just like a large muddy puddle!!! On the up side it does have a large oray of jumps lots of different sizes.

Bull farm is also nice, lots of little jumps though and not a huge about of decent ones haha, they are kinda just like 1ft 2ft or 3ft hahah!!!!

Lodge farm ftw!!!!

xxxxx

Many thanks - Bull Farm is ideally where I'd like to go first because 1ft/2ft would be right up our street for our first time out! I can't get the photo gallery on their website to work however!

I do love Lodge Farm - but I'm not sure theres enough little jumps for us just yet ;)

I have been told Bigberry farm is a great place to go for novice horses and riders as the jumps range from 1ft right up to novice BE fences. I haven't been myself yet but plan to go at some point.
