XC Hat Silks: Lycra or Silk?

Hey guys,
I'm getting a new xc hat silk But I don't know if I should get a silk one or a lycra one. Which do you prefer- is there any advantages or disadvantages of either? Thanks!xx

Al had a lycra one, now has a silk one. The silk one looks a lot nicer, might be a bit pricier but she loves it. The colours stand out more and it stays on her hat better.

I'd go for silk too. I got a couple made my a company that does racing silks, any colour any design
