Went for another XC schooling session today and took my new headcam with me.

Kasper and I, first jump to the last.

Cool but also really bizarre!!! Must be how the headcam is positioned but it looks like you never move your head even a fraction all the way through. I found myself watching your nose to see if it moved rather than watching the jumping ;-)

It is a Drift HD - got mine from ebay for £100 brand new. I have a remote on my arm that i use to record and stop so I dont have to have it running the entire time. Can't fault it so far.

Strange isnt it. It takes some getting used to the idea that the camera moves with my head so my nose will never alter where it is on the image.

I must be quite good at absorbing the movement of the horse with my lower body, something i've never thought about before.

Very clear vid, but is it just me or does he chip in a lot at fences? I still find it odd watching these vids!

What does 'chip in' mean?
This is only our third xc training session and Kasper is only 4 so we have a lot still to learn

He's about 16.2hh but I agree I look miles off the ground in the video. Made me realise how far it would be to fall!!
