On the way to my in-laws in Bloxham, we drive past what looks like a cross country training paddock with lots of xc type jumps all quite close to each other in one field. It's opposite Rye Hill golf club, just outside Milcombe and I was just wondering if anybody had any idea what it is?

I've googled and the only things anywhere near that look like possibilities are Grange Farm (but that's much bigger by the looks of it) and the address is a mile or two away (thought it's a possibility that the entrance could be elsewhere and you then have to go along a long driveway, or across a few fields to get there) and Turpin's Lodge riding school but I've seen the signs for that a bit further along the road and on the other side and their website doesn't mention a cross country course.

I'm just being nosey really as I live too far away to use it -thank god as I get to avoid the in-laws as much as possible!

I know the one you mean and I think it's privately owned - right opposite the Rye Hill entrance?

The other one very close is where I am stabled www.oaktreefarm.org - Rye Hill backs onto the farm.

PS I live in Bloxham, if you need a bolt hole next time...!

Yes- as you go out of Milcombe away from Bloxham it's on the left hand side. It looks lovely i'm very jealous if they have all that to themselves!
Your yard looks lovely as well, I'd love XC on site. We only have 2 within about 20 miles of where we are.
Thanks for the offer, next time I'm there, I might need you to have a horsey emergency that you need urgent assistance with! Unfortunately we're about to move which means that they're going to visit us more frequently - they wouldn't stay before as our bathroom is downstairs and they were worried about using the toilet in the night (wtf, they're only 70 not 90!) but now we'll have a downstairs loo and an upstairs so there's nothing stopping them. The two hour journey has also been an issue as frequent toilet stops have to be planned ahead so hoping that's not going to change!
