XC in the East midlands next sunday?

Just wondered if anybody new of any xc/ode's happening in the E.mids next week?

Id be eternally greatful for any suggestions!

Alternatively does anybody know anywhere that is good for XC schooling apart from Eland/Kedleston & Trowell?

Sorry dont know any comps, but Aylesford (SHoby) XC course is lovely, and so is Danethorpe in Newark?

(I cant remember the proper title). My horse is sound again now & Id quite like to take him to Prestwold as the weathers supposed to be horrendous for the next few weeks, so the ground should be perfect (for him)! Dressage will be a doddle, sj will be fine if I can hold my nerve. But he hasnt been xc for a year - hence the panicky post!

I would go to Somerford or Aylesfords, they have plenty at Aylesfords especially for a PN horse

Thankyou! Both sound nice, Ive been to smerford a few times, but really have heard great things about aylesford.

its not as great as somerford but is nice! The ground goes v v hard so it'll be good after the rain. There are a few dodgy distances but on the whole a lovely course to go round.
