I took Kasper out in the rain and wind this morning for some xc schooling and as usual had my headcam on (Drift Ghost S).

Thought some of you may enjoy a ride with me over some bigger and more technical jumps. Most of them are 80cm and over.

I always grumble to myself when i watch it back at how many time is look down at the jump, naughty naughty!

Bonus points if you spot the moment when Kasper and I almost parted company.

well done it was 3:26 - he landed on the wrong leg after the first jump then refused to listen to me asking him to steady so was unbalanced over the second jump which threw me over to the right, losing my left stirrup and just about managing to regain my balance and stay on. You can see my push my hat back up after :D

I love this little horse - so honest and calm, must be a pleasure to ride and to own. Very special little chap you're lucky to own him - I hope you know that :)

Wow thank you so much. I am very proud of what we are able to do together, it has been achieved through teamwork and a lot of hard graft.

Although I think you mean 'very special BIG chap' lol :D

He's a very handsome chap and you always look like the two of you have so much fun together.

He doesn't look so huge in your avatar pic. :) How big is he?

I love that course you went to wish I lived nearer and could take my boy there (I'm figuring iy would be around two hours in a lorry from High Wycombe).

Lol. He's about 16.2/16.3 ish but havent measured him recently. That photo does make him look especially huge though i must admit. He's got a massive head though and it's always up there in the clouds.

This is him next to the trailer a week ago, doesnt look quite so big.

I love watching your helmet cam videos. Hooray - I guessed right about where you nearly parted company - well done for staying on. I also thought he was around 15.2 and he definitely looks much bigger in that photo of you holding him, lol.
