Morning....
I'm so tired
... Didn't really get in till 9.30 last night, having not eaten since lunchtime...
Anyway - took the Bon Monster to school at Munstead, this time we were on our own
...
Warmed up nicely, ground was rather hard and rutty tho which isn't great, but we started well, and jumped a few together, then we did the double up in the corner and she had 'issues' with that - but over came them and did it. then onto the house and she had a look first time, then flew - up through the trees and back down through the drop.. all good and no stops. then onto the water - she wasn't keen on the fence in front and i got stroppy with her and then she flew.. strangly - she had issues with the water itself - it was really shallow and she wasn't keen at first, but eventually flew - tried jumping it as a whole (see pics i'll put in Gallery!)... Onto next combination of fence, drop down, up hill and log - flew!!! next fence is another small house type thing - issues first time
, but flew afterwards. then ditch combination....
these are my fear from Ludo as he always put me in them...
Bonnie had to be pursuaded for about 3 mins, then flew in trot and canter, put that with the fence behind and by this stage both of us were knackered, and first few times she did them, but then she stopped and i just tipped over her head
.... it was rather comical, but decided to put hte ditch and fence combo again to her, and left it at that....
So - not 100% flying yet, but 2nd time out really and not bad in cold blood and on her own with a bit of an idiot rider on top
...
Going again next week, hopefully with anohter horse, and this time will aim to do the course as a whole...
Pics in Gallery soon
