Well my OH and Sophie had a very wet morning XC schooling.
The ground wasn't too slippy though, and they had a nice spin round.

Keisha's daughter rode Ben and they both had a ball, will leave it up to her whether to put up any pics, but here are a couple her lovely hubby took of Sophie...

She won't do much in June as we are heading off on holiday in a few days, but will step the work up when we get back (to get a few pounds off her as she is a v good doer) and hopefully do another event in the middle of July if the ground doesn't get too hard.

I didn't bring my youngster out today, but she is hopefully going to stay with my instructor for a fortnight and he "fingers crossed" will take her in her first intro on 17th.

I can see her massssive tum in the last photo jumping up the bank, and her girth is 2 holes down from normal at the moment.

Ha ha about the stable stain! I'm not going to say it's mud or her markings, but I looked at the rain this morning, and thought b****r it, I'm not getting her all clean to go out in that. Serves me right, as I should have realised that Keisha's hubby would bring his camera and show me up as the sort of mummy who lets her horse go jumping with s**t all over her.

I was just glad that today we were..off the lorry, warmed up, round the course, washed off, and back in the lorry. Prob took about 1h15 in total. At an event you're in and out three times normally, or twice anyway. There's nothing more horrible than standing at the SJ waiting for your turn in the pouring rain!!!!

I was glad the course was a fairly straightforward one as they were having some "braking" issues at times, when Ben went on in front. She does enjpy her jumping!!

Thanks!!

(I hadn't realised that the combined training you did last week was open, I had assumed it was a "PC only" one. It sounded great, let me know if it is running again???)

She is handsome rather than pretty, but Irish Draught through and through. Fairly laid back normally, but just a bit of a spark when needed. She has been towing him into the fences our last two outings, hope it continues, as in previous years she has got a bit fed up at about this stage in the year (hard ground).
Thanks

Did you every dry out? What a morning, and I believe we got the best part of it! Darling daughter didn't seem to care about the rain, but hey that's kids for you! She loved Ben to bits, and Sophie was a real star too.. Will post my pics later.. Thanks for a great morning..

She is about 3/4 ID, mum was a purebred, and father was a ISH (coloured,...believe it or not).

Would love to do the next combined training, so if you could let me know that would be great.
