Hi All
Just been given a lovely new poly pad XC numnah by my friend as a belated birthday present in a really nice burgundy colour, so it has got me thinking about XC kit for this year.
Obviously have the numnah now, and use a stud girth, but my beloved Clarendon boots are falling apart a bit so need to invest in some new boots for my horse, probably just front ones as a bit broke ATM and hind pair of clarendons are still fine, just front ones giving way a bit.
So, should I go for clarendons again, as they have been very good, or any other suggestions? Would be awesome if they came in burgundy or navy!! Slight complication is that horse is a 15hh arab with not masses of bone, but relatively long cannon bones compared to the width of them if you see what I mean? Tends to wear pony sized boots
Also, I need a new shirt - any recommendations on where to buy from? Needs to go under my back protector I guess, the thinner the better as I always seem to get very hot XC! Can you wear short sleeves? Not sure I would though actually, might be a bit risky? Opinions please!
