What are your recommendations on skull caps for XC that will be allowed in 2016 onwards? Also does anyone know if companies like uvex will be releasing a new hat to pass the new safety standards? Thanks in advance!!

I would imagine companies who's hats don't meet the new standards will try and bring something out that does conform, however when this would be, i have no idea.
HS1 are still legal post 2016 - that is what i use and plan on buying a new one shortly - they are bringing out a new colour aswell so i might hang out for that!

I think all of Charles Owen & possibly Champion hats are ok, the J3 is what I have just bought & it's brilliant & I find it much more comfy than the HS1 I had previously. It's got the extra padding at the base of the neck & as a result feels more protective and its a XC design apparently.

I think most skull hats are ok. Charles Owen definitely are as I bought a Pro II last week.
