Hi

Ive entered for Mattingley and Borde hill intros and am now having a slight panic ! I totally forgot that my boy doesnt like water and the only xc place we have been this year is tweseldown and I have only just managed to talk him into going in that water ! (lots of "good brave boy" as we come in)
Basically I need to either go to a hunter trial or schooling somewhere in the next 2 weeks where there is a water jump ! HELP!
Was thinking of doing the open at fair oaks next weekend but have a feeling that there wont be any water in the water jump!

Sx

I would try Coombelands of Woolgars. Woolgars have a great water complex that you can walk in, step in and jump in

Stilemans has a decent water complex, and fairoak has 2 waters so would definitely be worth the trip. Pachesham has a fairly boring water complex just a slope in and out and one step but it's quite steep down into it so might be useful as practice.

Where is woolgars ? what is it like ?
I was thinking coombelands but dont know if i can talk friend into going there.
I might enter the fairoak ht then, i did get the big E, the last time there at the water ! but it was his first event !

Woolgars is around Guildford area. It is a UK Chasers course so it is very long and open. Lots of hill work. Some nice flowing fences and then around the water are some more challenging fences - large ditches, trakehner, Skinnies. I took my horse there for 1st XC ever and we did everything except the larger fences around the water
