Is there a cheaper option than the optium watches at £50?

I generally compete in Dressage, but recently we had a go an a ODE and loved it, but we were rather slow XC so thinking of getting one for some fun this year

What level eventing do you compete at?
You are only allowed to wear the stop watches at affiliated level (I believe it is all levels now instead of just novice and above). If you are going unaffiliated you will not be allowed to wear one.
Although the optimum watches are expensive, I do find they are the best as they are very easy to read while galloping along and they are easy to use.
