XC what body protector?

I'm biting the bullet this year and turning my hand to some cross country, so I was wondering what body protectors you all use ?(havent ridden in one for years

)

Unfortunately there seems to be a large gap in price between comfort and economy, bur racesafe are worth the money in comfort (the ones with individual padding). Mark Todd has a new one out that is supposed to be pretty close, but cheaper. Good luck with XC!!

i have a rodney powell, and it is lovely, not cheap, but then safety is important

I have an airowear one on a RS one and i vote RS all the way

I have the Airowear Zippa Sport. I'm sure it gives great protection

but the zip is the first thing undone when I cross the finish!!!!

I have a champion Cobra, Its like being squeezed into an iron bodice ... im planning on getting a Racesafe asap.
