Xrays and scans tomorrow for Pidge - what Q do I need to ask?

I missed the beginning of what is wrong with the boy, but hope all goes well tomorrow. Don't they find things to keep our adrenaline running? I am still a member of your clique by the way.

I brought my horse down to the veterinary hospital at the Curragh a few months ago, the horse got 4 x-rays, and 2 nerve block and including sedation and examination fee it came to about 180 euro (can't remember the exact bill), I think it was 25 for an x-ray and 40 for examination. Anyway it was much less than expected although I'd imagine it can add up quickly if they keep having to nerve block! I didn't find out what was wrong with my horse but it was worth bringing him down as it as it ruled out alot.

thanks honey, didn't really sleep very well last night. He travelled ok but vet said he'd rather I wasn't there when they do the nerve blocks etc as they can be painful for the horse

so left him sort of settled and went back to yard and mucked out and got his bed ready for later. now trying to get through to vets but phone is constantly engaged

OK not to worry you but I always want to be there when these things are done so I can talk things over with the vet and I can see things as they happen and follow the vets workings/conclusions etc. I'm not veterinarily minded as it were but I do like to know what is going on.
