Dear all!
after reading the replys that have been posted in return to my orginial post i think that i should reword the question!
'What type of bit do you use on your horse when you are at a show?.. is it any different from the one you use when you ride at home?'
Just so we are all clear I'm female.. so please don't send the H&H posses with tha castrating shears.. il think more carefully next time BEFORE i write the post!

You use the one you use normally, changing for show day is a bad idea.

However, it depends on the show, if your horse is strong for XC some people put a stronger bit in.

If you do dressage or showing to a higher level, you may use a double bridle.
