Brrrr remember the snow :o Now that it is 'Hot Hot Hot' does anyone know where I can get XXL fly masks for these two 18hh Percherons? they have massive heads  XL size doesn't fit them.
(I have one for the mini me bless him :))

aww they are all matching i love the mini one uuum i saw a masive one at the 3 counties show cant remember the name of the shop though i will have totink about it :)

I use the Cashel Crusaders and have done so for years. I get the ones with ears and nose cover to protect their huge pink nozzles.

Cairo and now Farra are not big Clydesdales at just under 16.3 and take XF bridles and the warmblood size is plenty big enough. I did buy the draft size for Cairo and gave it away as it was far too big and is now on a 18.2 Shire.

Mine wear them 24 x 7 from May to end of September and they don't rub, give very good UV protection and last several years and I can really recommend them.

The one on EBay will only fit a horse up to 17.3hh

So I will go for the Cashel Crusaders one - thanks for all the info Theresa, if the draft one fits an 18.2hh Shire, it will fit the gruesome twosome :o

I could have used the draft one as a long skirt - it is about 2 1/2 feet long. I get mine from these folks http://www.kmeliteproducts.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=fp001 and they do the draft size and are competitive. Not everyone stocks the XXL draft size.

I don't have to use any sun cream and so far never had any sunburn problems. They also have a nice big hole for the forelock to go through which stops sweaty heads, plus my traditional had a huge forelock down to the end of his nose so it would be horrible under a mask.
