Y Sioe 2013 - obese horses wibble and wobble round the ring.

Yuck, dont see what the judge sees in the black welsh cob stallion she's just pulled in first - what a horrid shape. Its got a horrifically dipped back, I just dont see why judges think that looks nice?! And yes, many are way too fat.
 
There was a lame one in the footage yesterday too but i guess a lot of the footage isnt long enough for us to see if its come on suddenly or what happens next

I do have to say though that i have noticed far less overweight Welsh ponies of all sections on the footage as i have seen at various other shows. I agree with one of the posters here who said this show is more frequented by breeders/studs than those who put all their energy in to producing for show alone
 
In hand stallion class. They just came in the ring and a bay stallion was trotting and looked really unsound in front. Not trotting fast, just a little trot so not being thrown by false steps or trying to break to canter. I couldn't pick it out after that, but it definitely didn't look right.

Ew, i completely agree its horrid!! Needs its bits chopping off!
