Don't think i've ever wanted rain so much and my "rain dances" have finally paid off had all night last night and all day today, supposed to be dry now for rest of week though so probably wont do us much good but it has damped down some of the dusty tracks etc,

Anyone else excited to see rain.

haha - like you i was really pleased to see the rain! Hopefully it will give our grass a new lease of life. We have hadnt rain for about a month. And its still raining - yippeeee!

can't believe I'm so happy to see the rain, its also rained here all day long and this evening too. As its been constant hopefully it has soaked into the ground and will give our grass a little drink. Can't wait to ride out tomorrow and not have rock solid tracks, may even be able to canter!!

Hope it continues tonight too

Rain is supposed to be hear until late tomorrow then we get some sunshine, so yes grass should start growing.

In 35 years of having horses this is only the 4th summer I have had to feed hay.

I think everyone I know in the South East has been doing rain dances for quite a few weeks now.

Yep we said hooray here in Kent too - and spent this evening throwing fertiliser around the poorly paddock...MORE RAIN PLEASE!

All I am going to say is that I am wet, cold and have had to put the heating on. As for the horse...... "one is not impressed" aparently
