I need to buy some new yard boots as mine are really hurting my feet and also leak so no good anymore! I need some that are hardwearing and also that you can ride in (don't have to look amazing, just be practical). Bear in mind most boots don't last me more than 6 months so if anyone could suggest any that are really hardwearing (and also comfy) that would be great.

All help appreciated, thankyou

I have a pair of Mountain Horse yard boots that I wear every day, both when just seeing to my horse and also when working. They're chunky but I find them easy to ride in as well. So far I have had them.... 5 years! All I've replaced is the laces, the boots are still fine. They cost me about £60 - £70 I think, but well worth the investment as I found muckers would only last me about 3 months!

mountain horse ones

they are amazing, i have the ones with toe caps in, really warm, i muck out and ride in them... however they are quite wide and heavy... but amazingly hardwearing

I have Ariats and they're fab. They're comfy, I can ride in them, they are really easy to clean and seem to be really hard-wearing. They are most definitely water proof and don't look out of place with jeans either!

They are amazing! Comfy and cosy but keep your feet cool in summer. I can wear them all day, riding etc mucking out and out shooting and dog walking. Well worth the money

o i also have ariats... but there my competition boots, they are lovely...

and dublin river boots... but there my nice ones, so i dont wear them at the yard to muck out in or anything like that

Thanks everyone, those mountain horse ones do look good, I might get them! I did have ariats in the past but they didn't last long, which was quite annoying as they cost a lot!
