Was wondering where you all get decent yard brooms from? I find that they either don't do the job properly or fall apart rapidly...............perhaps I brush too hard :D

I can only use the good old witches brooms or corn brooms, in my personal opinion the best. Gets into all of the nooks and crannies and easy to use :) mine has lasted for years, however it's missing a few bristles here and there due to said horse nibbling on it when unattended ..

I know I'm sad, but got my Herbie's broom yesterday and it's so good ended up sweeping the whole barn :D. Brilliant, worth every penny, now just need to hide it from everybody else ;)

I swear by Vileda household brooms - the red ones with an angled head. Nice and lightweight, get in all the corners, last for ever and get better with use - they can be a bit flicky to sweep in the wet at first so i trim an inch off and they work brilliantly. I can't use a normal broom any more!

Another one for corn brooms, great for mucking out, hay/straw even water. It feels horrible when i use the more usual type broom now.

As for gorilla brooms- def not indestructible like they make out, mine broke at the the handle join and snapped in half, so will stick to traditional things now!
