i dont know where to start but will keep it short. i had been at current yard for 5 years and been happy there, however now management has changed and it has been a nightmare. i had no choice but to leave and hand in notice as several other people left or where given notice. The bullying was dreadful and they installed cameras to watch everyone. we were not allowed to talk to other liveries and they had my sharer in tears. such a shame as a lovely yard. i had to move as dreading going down to yard. i am happy were i am now but grazing is limited. just wondering if any one has experienced this dreadful behaviour.

Kind of similar, moved to a yard for grass livery, was told only 4 horses were gonna be in that field I put him in and there were 8.
Summer months were fine, but winter came and nowhere near enough grass out for them. I asked to put hay in the field was told no, my boy started to loose weight very quickly 3 feeds a day plus a haynet I was spending 4 hours up there a day just to make sure he could get something to eat.
Then told the yard owner this isn't good enough, she is putting the welfare of my horse in danger. Put him in a separate field where I could put hay in and he started to gain weight. I had the vet out to check him - all good just needed a few more pounds.
Then get a call from the yard owner the day AFTER the vet had been saying my horse is an RSPCA case he is so skinny. Super bitchy yard. Yard owner had her little gang of bullies.
I left after 5-6 months of being there and will never go back. Absolutely disgusting the way they treat horses and owners

Was the "not allowed to talk" actually a covid 19 control measure. Were the cameras for security ,?
the cameras were for security but used to see what liveries were up to. it got so bad you couldnt do anything right and they gave loads of people notice think they wanted their own people that had not been at the yard before they took it over.
