Due to a change in circumstances, I may have to get some help with my horses this winter. What would you expect to pay someone for the following jobs?

2 horses, easy to do in all respects. They live out 24/7 but have access to 2 large bedded down barns. so rug check - poss change, top up water buckets, fill and hang several hay nets, feed and pick feet.

That's about it - does anyone know rough costings of daily cost for this or per job?

I'm not on a yard so no one to ask.

Thanks :)

If I was doing it it would depend on how far I needed to travel
But, I would estimate how long it takes you to do it, round it up to the next hour.
If you get someone good, they may be quick, but on days with problems they have to be prepared to sort them (ripped rugs, sorting out another to put on, cuts needing seeing to etc)

I would be thinking maybe £10 a day for that.

When I was pregnant I pay someone £8 a hour to help me out with mine, there was more to do at mine tho so it made the travel worth it. If you can find someone local £8-10 a day sounds about right.
