Hello everyone.
I am new to the culture of horse ownership and have visited many yards over the last few months with my wife. In these months I have been struck by the backstabbing and bitchyness that seems to fester in your damp little stables. As this is not always directed at us, but is constant, I have come to the conclusion that this is normal behaviour amongst you strange people. Please! Lets turn those frowns upside down, lifes too short. Especially for the glue fodders. Love Rick. XXX

So.
Who likes mayonnaise with their chips? I think it's so much nicer than tomato ketchup?

And, I don't think we've discussed this before - but should apple pie/crumble be hot with cold cream or ice cream....or cold with hot custard?

Thoughts?

A guy came into my chippy last night and got a cheesy chip with gravy, curry, mayo and thousand island. Beat that

I can't beat that....but my strange food preference is eating sugar on lettuce. I thought it was normal for years (I have an eccentric family)

My OH and his friend drink vinegar. They like the taste. Why is there no vomiting smiley when you need one?

My friends have lettuce with sugar on... You are not alone!

I like hot dessert with cold custard, or hot custard on its own, or with tinned fruit
grin.gif
Yum, I wish I had some custard now.

I know someone who drank a litre of vinegar for a bet once, that is just very very wrong!

I like to get tiny iceberg lettuce, cut it straight up and into quarters, douse it in lettuce and then dip it in salt. Yum!
(Oh, did we lose the OP?).

I like Mayonaise or salad cream on my chips.

It has to be hot apple pie with a proper quality vanilla ice cream.

I like cheese and jam sandwiches
tongue.gif
My grandad used to make them and for years I was convinced it was normal.

Oh and you also can't beat a good golden syrup sandwich using multigrain bread.

Sugar is much better than salt... I didn't mean to lose the OP. He/she/it seemed charming, I thought?

No guys seriously....I really wanna know? It just amazes me that horsey people get so nasty over the slightest thing when surely the whole point is that you enjoy your horse?? I didn't mean to cause offence. Can anyone tell me? I'm really not a troll, just a concerned husband.

By the way I prefer cheesy chips and key lime pie. Together.
