Yard insurance (private yard)

I currently have my stables on my home insurance but I have expanded my storage and am thinking of getting seperate insurance.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will insure stables and outbuildings that are NOT within the boundaries of a house.

NFU insured our yard which is two miles from home as an extra to the home policy. Works out about £12 a month extra

Sorry to 'borrow' your thread, but I need to insure my new yard. What does your insurance cover, and roughly how much does it cost per year/month ?

We've added it to the house insurance but it works out about £12 a month and covers fire, third party liability etc etc based on a rebuild cost of £15K.

You can only add it to your house insurance as long as you are not running a livery or have anyone using a stable for money! KBIS do a good cover.
