Ok guys.
I went for an interview on Friday and....they offered me the job.
All I have to do is tell them what I would like to earn.
I have said that I must have accomodation so that needs to be taken into account.
I have tried to find lots of ads to see what the going rate is. But rarely do they ever say what the annual salary is. I need to know what the salary should be rather than the hourly rate!

All advice welcome. Its 6/7 horses in for Hunting. All must be ridden three times a week. A 5/5.5 day week.
Thanks guys!

My head girl gets her accomodation [ static , brand new fully gas and electric heating, so i pay all bills including landline] Her horse on full livery, so that on her days off she does not have to do her own horse plus she gets to do him in work time. to this i then pay £800 cash per month.
i also give her lessons and transport her to shows. i also let her earn extra's by doing clipping etc of our liveries in her own time.

Brilliant! Thank you. Thats great to hear. Especially from an employer!
I know I'm probably being greedy but someone said that 1200 after tax a month with no horse and no perks ie lessons and transport etc was reasonable.
What does everyone think??

When I was doing hunters, 4 in full work hunting twice a week, 3 ponies for the kids to hunt in the holidays and 4 in the field (old/broken).
I was on £250 a week before tax, I live above the stables in a lovely flat for free, 5 day week. I could use the empty stables for my own horses but never saw the point as I didn't have time to do them!
I got the odd days hunting in on their horses. I was there on my own so for me a lovely job, the boss gave me a list of hunting days and left me to it.
