Now my knees are really knocking. My horse has not had turnout since NOv 9th and we move next Saturday. I know he will be excitable:eek: and exhuberant :eek:and NAF Magic Liquid has been recommended to settle him down over the next few weeks with Instant Magic before Turnout so opinions please.

He is already on Pink Powders and they have definitly suited him.

IS there grass where he will be turned out? If so, make sure he's quite hungry and worked quite hard before turnout and that'll hopefully take a bit of the edge off his nonsense! I've had quite good results with mgic but if you really think he may be a danger to himself when he's turned out then get some sedalin from the vet. Its much safer than risking injury to horse or human.

I'm presuming he's only been in due to yard policy rather than injury/illness?

I use the NAF Magic powder on my mare who hasnt been in a field for 12 months due to box rest and a tear in her tendon. Shes on it now as we have resumed ridden work but she still cant go out until possible May when vet says so, so I would say it works, definitely for us anyway. Agree Sedalin may be the way to go, talk to your vet. My only worry with it is that horse may in its head have the will to run about but the body wont comply and I would be worried that it may have an accident through not being fully in control of its limbs. Im not a vet tho so best advice would come from them.
